Bill,

I am in a Path which in NO way dismisses or denies the essential Divinity of everything and everyone.

However, the beginning of that Path (the essential groundwork) is an understanding of how the self-contraction is operating in one's OWN case. It is not something that you find in any book, but you DO indeed end up EXPERIENCING it. Sometimes it is enjoyable. Sometimes it is not. In some cases it is a process that goes on for many years.

That phase of the process culminates (in many people--not all) in something that is well documented in many traditions, and in the Christian tradition is described by St. John of the Cross as the Dark Night of the Soul. At the moment I am flirting with some elements of that "transition"

The book can be found at:

Perhaps in our Path we are all deluded. Perhaps the CWG
acolytes have a better understanding. Perhaps the only genuine religious ecstatic amongst us is Frderick. Maybe
he's nuts, as Solon suggests. Maybe Solon is nuts.

Who knows?

Namaste!

Jim
