Hi ftth,

My contact on Ultra-DSL:

It is designed for a perfect world of filling a wire binder with all the same type of DSL, no worries about radiation, etc. It relies on collaborative filling of all possible bandwidth to the limit. It might be great for a network with wires that were originally engineered for this type of application, where you have carefully controlled parameters and good shielding. There were some prezo's on some of the latest stuff out of Cioffi and others, at ieee here in austin this fall.

As the poster mentions, it would require lots of new-bury copper. It might be something for building apps someday, but for that to work cost has to come down. It requires alot more GOPS than you can implement cost effectively today.
