Again, it is one of those idiotic things: although we were right to ally with Stalin, as Hitler was the greater danger, the principle of dealing with regimes "on the ground", and choosing the lesser of two evils does not occur to these people as a generalization. Therefore, if we made choices to support obnoxious regimes in other circumstances, we are responsible for all of their defects. That is because, of course, such people do not take seriously that we were engaged in a worldwide competition with Communism, and that we had reason to make such choices. Eliminate that contest, and all that is left is "gangster capitalism"......
