I think the TGT's are probably a bit better in the midwest...at least the ONE TGT I visited in LA was not quite up to par with the ones here. In fact it was sort of a shambles, but the merchandise was all there, just not well displayed. There is a KM right down the street from my local TGT and even with Sports Authority, Pet's Mart and some other well established stores, the KM doesn't do nearly the business of TGT (which is a stand alone unit).
