did I read the word "TSUNAMI" in there for Argentina ???
a tsunami of bad loans
sad

too bad the policy that helped them a decade ago
(pegging Arg Peso to the USDollar)
crushed them as the world economy soured

they really needed to decouple in 1999
their economy is not as strong as the US
so it could not withstand an artifically high Arg Peso
meanwhile the USDollar is artificially high
from stored reserve internationally, rather than effervescent economy
sad

I wonder what the US Bank exposure is?
any idea?
I saw no word on this in the newswire
