"Contribute to the Cause!!!"

The notion that there is a "cause" which should be "contributed to" is what makes Droids so silly.

In any case, derivatives are every bit as real as the underlying instruments. That is, buying and selling futures (puts or calls) is every bit as important as buying or selling the underlying stocks.

Me, I don't buy or sell either stocks or derivatives so as to "contribute to the cause." I buy or sell based on expectations for future performance. I even bought some AMD a while back. And I have bought and sold CALLs on Intel and other stocks.
