I happen to know the seldom repeated argument: The tax system is "voluntary" because you file your own return, but payment of the tax is mandatory under the law. The courts have universally accepted this. WHY? Because they correctly perceive it as THE INTENT OF CONGRESS!!!

I don't follow that line of thinking, that is quickest way to get you ass thrown in jail.

When you live in a republic, you have only yourself (in the aggregate) to blame for whatever is wrong. I have no problem with any House committee looking into the question, AS LONG AS, at the end of the day, they officially announce to the public that, "Yes, it's our fault, and because it's our fault, that makes it YOUR fault, because YOU elect us. And as we all should know, in a republic, you get even tyranny if you vote for it."

I wouldn't consider myself part of the "black helicopter crowd" but I do want to know how it is legal for the IRS to search and seize you bank accts without a warrant. How in this great country you are innocent until proven guilty except with the IRS, where you are considered guilty and MUST prove your innocence. Etc, Etc...

My suggestion: The black helicoptor crowd should stop bothering Congress about this and go fight the liberal Dems with all their energy and money in the 2002 elections...

I suggest we see what Congress has to say Feb 27 and then go fight the liberal Dems with all their energy and money in the 2002 elections...
