I went & collected stats of this thread for the last week.
The important thing (for me at least) is that I found 41
posters! I find the following frequency table especially
encouraging:

#posts Frequency
-1 12
1-5 11
5-10 6
10-20 6
20-50 4
50-100 1
100 & more 1

In other words, there's a sizeable number of people around,
who now and then have something to say worth saying and
reading, but otherwise keep radio silence.

As Q Victoria would say "we were not amused" by the "> 100"
member of the fraternity. So what. The occasion made me
appreciate the other 39 posters even more.

PS: Of course the past week is not a normal week - 4day
trading, hangovers, holidays -. OTOH that was also the
week, that will probably remain in our memories as
"Vatna Jökull, there he blows" or "BF meets Titanic"
or whatever.
