no brainer, jim. We ALL should have the right to decide when we've had enough. You don't let a pet suffer, do you? Why should we let a human??? I watched my grandmother agonize for 10 years, knowing her life savings was going to a care facility, and not her children. Her brain worked, her body didn't. Either she was bed ridden, or in wheelchair, just sitting. 24 hr care. She hated it. Her husband had died about a year before she had a heart attack on a bus that should have taken her, but they resucestated her anyway. It's just inexcusable that we can not choose our own time to die with dignity. And I blame it completely on religion. Inexcusable bs. (stepping of soap box now). btw...I missed TKRN at .10. didn't chase it up. Hopefuly it will dip on monday, but if not, I'll get in where I can. Congrats to all who got in early. dave
