Hi DJ, there was some discussion about 'event risk' on the thread, and the possibilities apparently keep Pezz's weekend anxiety laced. I think the event folks have in mind involve explosives or germs or matters that fail my imagination. There is however one event amongst the many possibilities that is not a risk but a certainty, and no one seems to be worried about it, yet.

The departure of Greensput from the wet bar will be accompanied by disclosures and angst, and these will spice up the party even as the punch bowl magic gets shattered. The event may of course happen any time, including not within 2002.

Together with a Euro CB that must maintain faith in the currency-by-agreement, would seem to be a dangerous combo, much like setting off grenades in the snow-laden Alps. Anyway, just a risk based on a certainty.

I just thought I should log this issue so that I can refer back to it later:0)

Chugs, Jay
