Hmm, soon after the 9/11 attack, we started hearing the far-far left denouncing the war. This sentiment has increased in its invocation but is not supported by the mainstream of Americans.

The Democrats have not responded to it.

Yet the Democrats are taking a chance here, in that, their obstruction of the tax relief bill and the ensuing political fight for the 2002 elections makes them vulnerable to an attack by Al Qaida in the US. This would derail their attempt at stonewalling.

Why take this chance now?

They've never been known for not covering all bases prior to a political campaign. What makes them feel comfortable to attack at this time?
