This is addressed to everyone - not only
substancep. I remember we already had this discussion,
but I still consider the "portfolio" layout
based on only "some" accounts highly misleading.
I don't care that it misleads me - I don't buy the
100% G&K portfolio anyway and I am not planning to
replicate anyone's portfolio. I think it also
misleads the person posting himself. It is very easy
to think:

"Hey, I am G&K investor, I spend 100 hours a week
looking at my QCOM holdings and 100% of my portfolio
is in G&K", while in reality the person has
90% of the money in mutuals/bonds and 99% of the
money in mutuals/bonds/real estate
and probably would do MUCH better by spending these
100 hours thinking about his 95-99% of holdings.
For example, I am NOT convinced that indexing is the
best way to go in the mutual fund part of portfolio.
Similarly, even in the current low mortgage rate
situation, prepaying vs. investing is still an
important consideration.
