I think the Muslims stopped attacking west around 1143 at some big naval battle off the coast of Italy. They did invade Spain but that was many years earlier. The spics finally put the run on them but kept the music, the math and architecture. Ironically, the spics themselves were originally Afgha-Pakis of the ancient Aryan invasions mixed with the orginal native Spanish Basque and Celt. The Celt is now a Castilian or weirder still, a mixed Jew. The lighter skinned people, the blonde celts and the Jews stuck together in the hills as they were persecuted first by the dark Aryans and then by the Arabic Moors. Thus the Shepardic Jew who herded the King's Marino sheep ended up with light hair. Of course we are not sure he was that dark to begin with despite the Jew's belief today that they were of purely ME descent. The probability is that they were a steppe tribe, caucaso-oriental like the Huns, Armenians, Turks, Iranians, Sumerians and Kassars. EC<:-}
