Which is why I posted that market share was so important for the two companies.

the DEPRECIATION expense is factored into the Cost of Goods Sold.

Yeah, but they keep spending $7.5 Billion each year while only including $4 Billion in depreciation as a "cost of goods sold."

Your argument should be: "the past two years were an anomaly, and Intel CAPEX will drop back to $4 Billion or so next year."

Please don't do a wanna_bmw and just cover your ears with your hands and start shouting "la la la la la la la la la..."

My response is "I don't think they can cut CAPEX while AMD is pushing them so hard, they will need to implement SOI, for example, starting after next year."
