Camry actually has better V4 than Altima. I could live with Camry V4, but I've been driving with manual transmissions for over two decade, felt V4 was too weak. But for a teenagers, V4 might be better. I'll need to slow them down.... If buying automatic, V6 seems to the choice even with additional $3k to the price tag. Least trouble and maintenance free car should be either Camry or Accord.
