res- Having frittered away a supposed $5.6 trillion surplus in this decade, the government is poised to begin borrowing money to cover deficits How was the money frittered away. Do you think the author believes that money kept in the hands of the american people and out of the hands of government is frittered away? Or is he upset about our increased spending?
