Baldur,

Proof you want, proof I've got. I posted back in August a couple of articles highly critical of ANALysts that appeared on Silicon Valley.com authored by Deborah Lohse.

One tells of angry investors suing the likes of Henry Blodget of Merrill Lynch and Mary Meeker of Morgan Stanley for their "over aggressive" pushing of net stocks and failing to disclose banking relationships their employers had with the affected stock. It's been alleged that they failed to mention to investors that analysts were pressured to issue only bullish recommendations.

The SEC got into the act as well contending six firms "mandated that...analysts issue a favorable recommendation." In addition, many analysts bought cheap shares in stocks before they went public, then in at least three instances they sold the stock at the same time they were recommending the public buy it! I CAN'T believe it!!! VERY TIC

Nothing I like better than to see my two favorite groups of people mixing it up, the lawyers and the ANALysts. In this case they deserve each other. Scratch this scab off, and the pus rolls out!
