No, no, you have it backwards. Inquiry into beliefs is a prelude to understanding. It is when you do not attempt to learn and understand the beliefs of others that you become apt to prejudice.

Unitarians do not do this. Buddhists are likely tolerant of outsiders (at least, they won't kick their asses). There are many other groups like this.

Huh? You misunderstand me. I have neither beliefs nor disbeliefs. I am hoping, though, that by asking questions about the beliefs of others, I may be able to figure out which of these beliefs hold the most ground. This is not a logical hope, and my chances of fulfilling it are low, but what else can I do?
