Hi Tom, About starting a LP, Chapter 45 in Buffettology provides some info on how Mr. Warren Buffett did it. It seems better to start a LP than a Mutual Fund because... "as long as you don't take on more than one hundred investors, you are exempt from SEC rules requiring registration for mutual funds. If you are a mutual fund you have to comply with more regulations than a private in a Marine Corps." Regards, Jack
