Do you know who the officials might be? "When Sudanese officials claimed late last year that Washington had spurned Bin Laden's secret extradition from Khartoum in 1996, former White House officials said they had no recollection of the offer. Senior sources in the former administration now confirm that it was true." Do you have names for these people? Can you find out their names?. I haven't read the entire Rashid book that I mentioned in my post to you, but I got the impression that no one would ever turn over Bin Laden even when they promised to do so. We need precise names for the Washington sources.
