Okay, I've read it. I don't agree. My experience has been that when government is overburdened with debt inflation grows, interest rates go up. It's like a secret tax when your dollar starts to lose value because of inflation. Also, the article says stuff like.."does not include Mr. Bush's proposal to allow needed oil exploration in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska." Gas prices are cheap, there's lots of gas, Alberta oilsands alone, which have pipes running straight to the U.S., has more oil than Saudia Arabia. Tapping the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge plays to Bush cronies and not the long-term public interest.
