"I agree with you in doubting that Apple will sell a whole lotta Power Macs this quarter, unless they can roll out new ones in Tokyo next month and have them ready to ship immediately." Actually, not that I disagree with you, but I think Apple better announce the PM upgrades next week during the earnings. If not, this qtr will be a pretty lousy one IMO as the new iMacs and iPods just won't make up for the lost revenue of the PM. People, including myself, wanting a PM are waiting for the 1GHz+ machines. I believe many current Mac owners are tired of incremental upgrades. It's time for quantum leaps. GHz PowerMacs will do for now.
