Corvis Corporation Names Lynn Anderson Chief Financial Officer
COLUMBIA, Md., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Corvis Corporation (Nasdaq: CORV - news), a leading provider of intelligent optical networking solutions, announced that it has named Mr. Lynn Anderson Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Lynn Anderson succeeds Anne Stuart, who has taken an executive position with a Maryland-based biotech company.

Prior to joining Corvis, Lynn was Chief Financial Officer of the Optical Capital Group, a technology investment firm focused on communications technologies. Lynn has also held a number of executive positions with General Electric and GE Capital. His experience with the General Electric Company included assignments in the United States and Asia. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Chief Financial Officer for GE Capital Technology Management Services and he was Chief Financial Officer of GE Capital -- Indonesia. Mr. Anderson earned his MBA from the University of Texas and his BS degree from Kansas State University.
