See AMD dual chipset has USB 1.1 glitch. The Web site has confirmation from an AMD representative of the problem, which has caused some mobo makers to delay shipping dual boards. AMD says the problem is minor but nevertheless is fixing the problem as a matter of urgency. As we reported at the time, some mobo makers - such as Asus - are shipping USB 2.0 cards with their boards as a workaround to the problem. You can find the AMD Zone story here. µ
