This continues to look odd. The .13um celery is what, maybe, 50mm2? With yield effects factored in, there must be at least 5x as many good celeries per wafer as there are pivs. The 1.1ghz .18 um celery has 4 pages worth of listings on pricewatch. The allegedly short supply .18um 2ghz piv has 5 pages. The 1.2ghz celery part, which ought to be a lot cheaper than the 1.1ghz celery to produce, both by area and binsplit, has half that, 3 months after introduction.

As to the oft-repeated OEM argument, that's a little odd too, with Intel doing the piv deep throat job big time.
