FWIW: A trading pal who knows a thing or two about candlesticks, Monty, says it is an evening star, in his view, and the gap isn't necessary. He said, "I find the 'real world' not perfect when it comes to most candles." I think Don has said something similar, that you have to base your definitions on experience, too. Monty adds that the formation could also be interpreted as an "Upside Gap 2 Crows, which is a 3-day formation that is one of the most reliable there is for shorting." Anyway, 'nuf of that. I agree with Warren B., that there aren't any (or at least many) undervalued stocks in this market.
