Yes, I've heard that but think it's mainly FUD. The same was said when AMD went from .25 to .18 and they got 40%.

No. But by the time AMD gets to .13u, Intel could be cranking up .10u (or whatever). I remember that AMD ditched .35u midstream and went to .25u with the K6-2.
Similar things could happen again.
