Thanks. Got the news about 1/2 hour ago too. Obviously, insiders always have the upper hand, no? Getting back to the news, I agree that it is not suffcient to justify the rise, however, market reaction doesn't seem to behave logically all the time, and I think this is one of those times.

I've been looking back at SNDK's past quarterly reports, and it appears that their earnings have come down along with their sales volume although royalties have increased somewhat. Will this deal with Hitachi mean more sales and bigger profits, more sales and reduced profits or what? With a large company such as Hitachi now producing in volume Sandisk's bread and butter products, won't the market price and profit margins come down? What will this mean to future earnings? Anybody wish to comment?
