In fact, who is to say that denial isn't the better way to go all the way around? We are encouraged to face our problems and not be in denial but maybe that's why there is so much depression.

A book for all to read- How We Know What Isn't So by Thomas Gilovich. It's a book which discusses why so many people believe things that aren't true and why people should be steered away from "live and let live" when it comes to believing such fallacies. Cool book, I agree with much of what he says.

Z, does the author focus on one area like religion or does he talk in general? I take it that he's not up for denial.

That's too bad.....I was kind of liking my denial approach to life. <g>
