Firelight Announces Costco Order and Revenues
Mr. Mike England reports
The total sales of Butch Harmon's Ultimate Golf series for the initial six months of marketing to Dec. 31, 2001, has totalled approximately $1-million. This result has exceeded the company's expectations and Firelight looks forward with confidence to 2002, as sales momentum builds and new products are added. As part of the company's marketing initiative Firelight has recently concluded arrangements to supply mass merchandiser Costco with an initial order of approximately $170,000 for DVD versions of the Butch Harmon Ultimate Golf series. With the exception of Costco, which is in fact a private club, the company's intent is to continue its successful high-margin direct marketing approach, plus smaller golf retailers. It is anticipated that coming into the summer of 2002 the company will begin moving into the larger retail chains. Shareholders will be updated regularly on the progress achieved. The goal of Firelight and Butch Harmon is to create a broadly based golf media company providing not only the highest-quality videos and training aids but to simultaneously develop an involvement in all aspects and routes of promoting the game on a global basis. The company's mission is to provide unparalleled quality and service to the golf-playing community, while constantly striving to increase, and maintain, exceptional shareholder value via strong revenue and asset growth.
