You might want to look into getting the prescription filled in Canada to save some bucks. There are several organizations offering this service... My cat has thyroid problem and will be taking medicine twice a day for the rest of her life. The medicine comes from the pharmacy (same stuff they give people) and is not cheap. I tried to get her on my health insurance, but that did not work out:) Trying to get the medicine from Canada is on my list of things to do. I will let you know how it turns out... wecaremedicalmall.org
