Ed Hyman (of ISI Group), the Institutional Investor magazine top economist for the 22nd year in a row (yes! 22 years. More years than a lot of the walking zombies around these threads....) recently said that the economic recovery has started last November 2001, and that it is a "perfect recovery", with 3% growth and less than 1% inflation.

Steve Roach (of Morgan Stanley) has won zero II top economist awards. Roach believes we will get a "double dip" and don't see a recovery anytime soon.

Who will we believe here. 22 vs 0? Not unpleasant to be with (Hyman) vs extremely annoying to look at (Roach).
Called the last recession (Hyman in 1999) vs called for an imminent recession in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 (Roach) Get the idea?
