Of course the US gives foreign aid to many countries in many ways. I was looking for a list of US foreign aid recipients but haven't located one yet. Most certainly the US gives more total foreign aid than any other country, but as a percentage of GNP Denmark gives the most. This is a interesting chart. As a percentage of GNP the US is 22nd in assistance.
