Japan Buys the US.

The thing that always amazes me is how long all these things can continue before they re-correct. The Japan fiasco has gone on longer than anyone would have thought possible.
I remember Tiger Fund and others being very bearish Japan in 94/95 - they were right, but what a rollercoaster.
They got carried out when USDJPY went sub 100 and sub 80.
These markets: JGB, USTreasury, and FX are massive and I really do not think that anyone knows the numbers and can do any sort of FA. I have no idea! That is what every one tries to do in estimating all this economics stuff.

It will all be swept under the carpet.
There are two options after a bubble.
-Slow long and painful, or
-Slower, longer and more painful. No-one can really do anything else as politics will always hold sway before natural market forces.

Not a bad idea though the Japanese saver paying for the US consumer to buy Japanese products that they refuse to purchase themselves. Now that's teamwork!

Myself, I will put my head in the sand, and focus on the day-job. Unfortuneatly I am doing contract work in a shrinking economy and being paid in a devaluing currency.

sayonara for now!
