Hi Ohkami; It's obviously pointless to continue arguing about whether or not Micron is the lowest cost producer. I still haven't seen a single number that would argue against it, and trading words is useless for an engineer.

Here's a start:

Mosel Vitelic - Infineon (joint venture called ProMos)
Nanya - IBM
Powerchip - Mitsubishi
Vanguard - Mitsubishi
Winbond - Toshiba


Since Toshiba is getting out of the biz, maybe Winbond is in a bit of trouble. I'd expect Mitsubishi to exit also, if they haven't already. (I can't recall if they did already. Was it last summer?)
