God through His mercy provided a transitional period for the ancient Jews who lived between Jesus' Resurrection and the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. This was the transition from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant in Jesus' Blood. It is easy to understand the special mercies and grace of God in this period. The ancient Jews were faced with the painful decision of abandoning the Old Covenant with its God ordained Priesthood, its Temple, its Ark of the Covenant etc., and turn to Immanuel--God Incarnate. For a time both existed simultaneously under the Grace of God. God permitted this state of transition exist while He began to pour out His Holy Spirit and empower His Apostles and His Church with the many gifts that proved that the Messiah had indeed come and the New Covenant had been established and the old was passing away. This speical period of Grace on the ancient Jews for the transition from the Old Covenant to the New ended with God brought a final end to the Old Covenant by destroying the Temple, the genealogy, the Ark of the Covenant, the Priesthood. The promises to Abraham and to his seed had been fulfilled in Christ. The nation of ancient Israel had been trasformed from the shadow into the full substance of the Body of Christ--the Church. The holy remnant of Israel had been trasformed into a Holy Nation a Divine priesthood to bring forth the glories of God. These ancient Christian Jews went out as a Holy Nation and priesthood and converted the whole world to Jesus Christ. All nations came to their feet to hear of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--Jeus Christ. --------------------------
The only real Jews in the world today are the descendants of this Holy nation--Christians. Those that call themselves Jews and are not Christians are the "Synagogue of Satan". ------- Rom. 2
28: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. --------------- Phil. 3
2: Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision(circumcision).
3: For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. ----------------- Gal. 3
Chapter: Gal.5
1: Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
6: For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. |
