Peter - You posted According to Intel’s distributors, Intel manufactured more than 12 million Socket 423 and Socket 478 P4 processors in the fourth quarter of 2001 12+ million Pentium 4's in Q4 of 2001 is about 3 times the number of Athlons that AMD produced in the same quarter - about 4 million. I thought the geniuses on this thread said nobody wanted the Pentium 4, Intel couldn't produce the Pentium 4, etc. Looks like a reality check for some of you guys. Monica
