I just wonder sometimes whether or not that 'purging' is possible with Greenspan at the Fed.

It is starting to feel more and more to me like we are going the way of Japan as the political pressures seem to be toward interventions that have the consequence of prolonging "the agony"....in other words.....the dreaded "L"

I hope the market pundits are right *this* time when they say the "recovery" is 6 month away... as think we have a sicker market than we do an economy.
