as usual, fantastic points from Tero on the alleged recharacterization of the China "launch"... i guess this is a details-at-eleven story, but can anybody be that surprised if it's true? people are crowing about 150 million subs in China...well, those subs all belong to the COMPETITION. so far, it's GSM 150 MILLION, CDMA 0. network effects, anyone? i don't see how Unicom can succeed in billing CDMA as a "high-end" service. that doesn't seem to be the niche CDMA has gained in other GSM-dominated markets. JMHO
