most sectors depend heavily on economic recovery
tech stocks depend on recovery EVEN MORE SO than oil and service stocks
techs have a near zero book value baseline
oil/gas stocks have a baseline near their book value, derived from their proven reachable reserves
techs have profit margins that are disappearing
oil/gas stocks still have sizeable margins, and will continue until oil hits $15 per barrel
(methinks not reach such lows)

as juniors find more oil&gas, their reserves rise
and so do their mktcaps

if no recovery, then techs go back down to single digits
and another round of bemoaning a tech wreck revisited

if a widening war, then techs go down fast, while oil rises
and the energy sector will see breathtaking gains

do you still drive to work?
does your house still benefit from electricity?
is your office heated?
that is the baseline advantage
and juniors within the oil/gas sector are growing
