Thanks for your post, but you may have misunderstood something here...

The majority of economists have had a GOOD track record, collectively, in predicting Greenspan's moves, as the Fed Governors have no choice but to cast their votes primarily based upon statistics (re. inflation, currency, export/import surplus etc), only to a lesser extent on the political climate. This is a lot more PREDICTABLE than the stock market behavior.

In my previous post re. "unanimity" in economists' forecast, I was referring to the Fed action, not market action.
