The problem with AMD is that they had it in the palm of their hands but couldn't go the last mile. They went the last mile and an extra mile. The problem is the plan was too ambitious from the start. They burned their candle from both ends and this was the inevitable outcome. The did an excellent job executing a plan that couldn't work over the long term. Don't blame the people who did the work, blame the plan. EP
