Pat, I think Robert Rubin was a great person for the job as Secretary of the Treasury. Even so it is very difficult to believe that one individual can turn the economy around. Some believe that the more government intervention the better an economy works. Many times, over regulation backfires. In some case it exist in an attempt to help "friends". This is true regardless of which political party is in power.
