Ontario Hydro Partners With LGS to Ensure Year 2000
Compliance
TORONTO, ONTARIO--LGS Group Inc. ("LGS") has been awarded a
contract exceeding one million dollars by Ontario Hydro to help
review all of Ontario Hydro's in-house computer systems and
technology to ensure that they will not experience any adverse
impacts due to the Year 2000 problem. LGS has agreed to work with
the Ontario Hydro Year 2000 Program Office and Business Units
following a disciplined Year 2000 methodology.

to Ontario Hydro's Year 2000 Program requirements. We look

Ontario Hydro is facing the same challenges as many other
companies: they have a number of different systems, including in-
house designed and implemented applications, as well as third
party software applications. As part of their Year 2000 project,
Ontario Hydro will be reevaluating their current business, process
control and facilities management systems to ensure Year 2000
compliance.
LGS has been providing Year 2000 services to clients since 1995
following its four-phased methodology which includes Awareness,
Analysis and Planning, Conversion and Testing and Redeployment.
LGS also provides an automated conversion factory for the
renovation of COBOL and PL/1 applications.
