The only performance information from the two company's SOI processes that I've seen officially released is that "worlds fastest transistor" stuff - and AMD's SOI appears to beat Intel's SOI.

Not much of a data point, but it's better than no data point. Any claims that Intel - the newbie in the SOI world - has a better process than AMD should probably be backed up with something other that "our experimental parts are slower."
