Gary,
I'm not able to get to my email so I'll send this to you over SI. You may have already heard, however, I'll update for anyone else interested.

The Michigan Senate has tied passage of their Prop E legislation to passage of the Indian Gaming Compacts. They have stated that if the House refuses to pass the Indian Compacts they(Senate) will hold up passage of Prop E. This will mean that Detroit casino legislation would not take affect until April of next year. This would anger many people and is a huge piece of leverage in favor of the Indians. A deal must be struck by Friday as this is the end of the summer session.

Word is that there could even be a vote today. Looks like where Prop E goes, so goes the Indian Compacts. This is very good news as Prop E is almost a sure bet to get done this week.

Looks like this week is the week of reckoning for CSNR.

Keep your fingers crossed.
