Bill, I am not really stonewalling you, or trying to avoid anything. I think it is simply that you are working on a CWG model, and I am working on a Way of the Heart (Adi Da) model, and while they have definite correspondences, they have different slants or emphases. I am up to about page 100 of the CWG book and when I am finished I will try to contrast the two as I understand them. You may interpret what I have said about the ego as being functionally the same as what Frederick is saying, but there are differences there too. All of this is lack of agreement is fairly inevitable because: -- there are different character types -- each person's personality mix is unique -- character & personality filter perception (unconsciously) -- one's Spiritual Path filters perception -- everybody is a bit defensive -- everybody is a bit aggressive -- everybody is a bit reactive Let's see how things look after I know a bit more about CWG and you know a bit more of Adi Da.
