Ron,

<<As a short term trader I can't imagine that there will be
too many low risk entry points (on the long side) at this time.>>

I keep telling that to myself. I really feel this market is extended,
but simply cannot deny the fact that it keeps going up..

<<I also made some money on HBOC--by my standards I was very patient
and held it from 50-65. I think they are a great company and they
are so much bigger than anyone else in that sector. They are the
CSCO of healthcare information systems. I wish the market would
correct so I could buy it again!>>

I like this stock very much also. Notice the bounce today? I sold most of
my position a few days back and was hoping for some pullback also. That
is what makes this market so difficult. This could be short covering but also
there was a recommendation. What to do now? Hmmm.

<< I noticed someone tried to take credit for RENS and you
stuck up for me (not that I need that but it was nice all the same).
Those stocks have also been phenomenal.>>

Yes, you have had some incredible picks.. Your analysis is
very good..

<<I have been involved in a spirited debate involving PTEK which I have
soured on fundamentally but which may be tracing out an extended
wave two correction prior to wave three. You may recall we counted
(well, you counted--I guessed) five waves up and now the stock has
gone sideways for almost two months.>>

With sideways moves I start to loose interest. I like PETK but am not
involved now..

<<P. S. Will gold ever bottom? Isn't this the ultimate contrario
play?>>

I have decided to be the contrarians contrarian. I only trade ABX and still
see some weakness ahead. I have a target, short term, of 18 1/2 it is
now about 22 1/2. I watch this closely and could change quick, but nothing
yet to suggest upside potential.. The goldbugs are really getting
discouraged and this makes your comment, "isn't this the ultimate
contrarian play", interesting.. But, like trying to pick most bottoms, they
always seem to go lower..
