You may be right but I think it's not material to the issue. Tons of US$ paper has been created. We are in a war of occupation. The USA is the land of the free but neither God or Allah has nothing to do with jurisprudence or liberty. Thank God we have a constitution!

The whole God Bless America thing is wearing a little thin for a lot of us. The management of the military is superb. You should buy the stock of a company with this kind of quality management. But the monetary issues are paramount now and the military spending is going to kick in at a time when interest rates should rise. If this happens it will imperil the whole system. I have shifted to another asset class with the assets I have that can be moved. Gold stocks?

I was happy to see Fowler downgrade all the gold stocks the day before gold broke out.

We are in another Vietnam but this time the cause can be identified with, at least for now. I think things are going to get very complicated from here. The occupation of Afganistan and then Iraq and then....is going to be very expensive and inflationary. It's beyond Desert Storm which was basically a showcase for our amazing technology and we had to run down the inventory of smart weapons to get to this phase.
