Joanne, great stuff. How you get dat histogram effect? Probably if I look hard enough. One thing I found is that if you plot the cumulative percent change on top of any of the clx plots (pp,aydis, clx) you can see cause and effect relationships fairly easy for short term, intermediate term and long range term. Of course, everyone who looks at data has a different way of looking at it and a different approach to trying to interpret what it means. I suspect there is a lot more in the clx's than has become apparent so far....someday maybe I'll print out some long term charts and study them. For this study to have much meaning though, I would want to see confirmation between the dow, the ndx100, semiconductors and biotech sectors. IOW, if it works in one, it should work in all others....blah, blah, blah, I'm babbling.
I hate trying to make a stand during this period leading into expirations. One has no way of knowing which way they will jerk this market around. As the Cheif says, great one day, ugly the next.
Enjoy your work and graphs.
